Overdraft Protection

Synergy offers a choice of plans to protect against overdrafts or simply provide additional funds when needed.

  • Personal Line of Credit* – Transfers amounts needed in increments of $100.00 up to established credit limit. $70 origination fee, $12 annual fee.
  • Automatic Transfer – Transfer funds as needed from another checking or savings account in increments of $100. $5.00 fee per transfer.

Synergy Sweep

Make the most of your money by automatically investing excess operating funds into the Power Plus Account while retaining availability to cover checks if needed.

 

With the Synergy Sweep, the collected balance in the checking account will be allowed to fluctuate between your target balance levels without transferring any funds to or from the money market account. Collected balances in excess of your maximum will automatically be transferred into the Power Plus Account, our interest-bearing money market deposit account. Likewise, should withdrawals cause the collected balance of the checking account to drop below your minimum, funds sufficient to bring the collected balance back up will automatically be transferred from the Power Plus account. The checking account balance range is designed to ensure that the money market account operates within the Money Market Deposit Account transaction limitations described below*. The maximum balance may be customized to meet your changing needs.

 

The Synergy Sweep allows you to automatically maximize the use of your funds. All of your transactions, deposits and withdrawals, are done through one account, the checking account, and we do the rest. Let our Synergy Sweep Service go to work for you!

  • Customized target balance levels
  • Personal Accounts: $10 per month sweep fee
  • Commercial Accounts: $40 per month sweep fee

 

*Automatic transfers into the Power Plus are unlimited; however, federal regulations limit the number of automatic transfers out of the Power Plus account to no more than six per month. Over-the-counter (in person) transfers out of the Power Plus account are unlimited. Should all six automatic transfers out of the Power Plus account be used and additional transfers are required, they may be done in person at the bank. We would contact you in the event an in person transfer was necessary.
